Out of the Harborlight Yacht Club in Long Beach, our new Lagoon 380 catamaran is now available for bareboat chartering. Perfect for weekend excursions for Catalina Island or extended trips down the California coast, the Lagoon 380 offers ample living space and comfort for trips of any length. This luxurious yacht offers a spacious layout featuring a round cockpit with a table in addition to a large helm station. The large side decks and trampoline provide plenty of additional space on deck, and the interior salon offers a panoramic view of the horizon through the windows and sliding glass door. The galley is conveniently located between the cockpit and salon through the sliding glass door and is equipped with full amenities. A luxrious owner's suite is featured on one hull with a queen size bed, desk with bookshelf, hanging closet, and private full-sized head with a separate enclosed shower. The other hull provides two double berths separated by another head with a shower. Additional sleeping space is provided by the convertible dinette in the salon.

Catamaran Instruction
|

If you don't yet have experience sailing catamarans, one our sailing instructors will accompany you on the first two days of your trip, providing you with the necessary knowledge and skills needed to start sailing the Lagoon 380. By the end of the instruction period, you will be qualified to sail catamarans 30-50 feet in length. You won't have to hire an instructor or captain once you take that sailing vacation you've always dreamed of in the Caribbean or any other exotic location – you will already have the experience required in order to sail catamarans on your own. Instructors are paid $20 per hour for the 16-hour Cruising Catamaran course. Below is a sample itinerary for the catamaran instruction:

Day 1
|
Thorough introduction to the Lagoon 380 and its systems, rigging, etc. in addition to extensive docking practice (9am - 5pm).

Day 2
|
Cruise to Catalina Island along with anchoring and mooring practice. Instructor departs by ferry at the end of the day after the written exam (9am - 5pm).

Day 3
|
Sail back to Long Beach on your own! Or add days onto your trip to extend your sailing vacation.
